Nets VS Bulls - Playoffs - Round 1

This is it.. The moment Nets fans have waited for.  The moment Brooklyn has waited for.  Finally, we are back where we rightfully belong.. The NBA Playoffs.  As expected, we're facing the Chicago Bulls in what will surely be a battle.

I know that the Brooklyn fans will be out in full force.  I know the Brooklyn Brigade will be Louder and Prouder than ever.  So, of course, I had to create designs and then more variations of those designs to do my part.

Let's get these up. Let's get these out there.  Print them and share them with the stranger next to you.  Get them on National TV.  Get ESPN talking about the Brooklyn Nets fans and let 'em know, this aint Jersey baby!

Get these signs out there!! Tweet Players, Celebrities, and fellow Nets fans!  Encourage people to support the team more than they have for the past 82 games! We're going to need it.  Let our team hear you!  Let our team SEE you!  And let's Blackout in Brooklyn!

Hello Playoffs

The Brooklyn Nets have clinched their spot in the 2013 NBA Playoffs.  Where they end up is still undecided, but it looks like they'll lock up the 4th spot in the Eastern Conference and either take on the Chicago Bulls or the Atlanta Hawks.  Either way, Brooklyn has made it to the dance in their rookie season and I couldn't have asked for more at this point in the resurgence.

Of course, with my team back in the Playoffs for the first time in 5 years, there had to be quality designs to back up the celebration.  Today, I give you a few Instagram formatted designs to help represent the Brooklyn Nets, the Playoffs and our theme, "Blackout In Brooklyn."

Save em, post em, spread em.. Get it out there and help the Brooklyn Nets go viral!

Here we have the Brooklyn Nets Secondary logo in all black with a white edge to represent the Blackout!

Support the Brooklyn Nets and the Brooklynettes with this "Blackout In Brooklyn" image.

This is an old image of mine based on last years' NBA Playoffs T-Shirt collection.  Of course, we weren't included then.  But this year is a different story.

Lots of hate throughout the league when it comes to the BrooklyKnight, but I'm a big fan of Brooklyn's Super Hero and I think it fits perfectly with our theme!

I like this one a lot.  Put a cool filter on it and it should really pop!
This is a play on the 2007 Nets Playoff T-Shirt featuring Jason Kidd.  That was the last time we made it to the Playoffs.  Back then, it was "In Kidd We Trust."  But now, we have "DWill To Win"

Anytime I get a chance to use the "B" Trophy design I've made, I take it.  This was an obvious, but creative, way for me to express love for our Captain.

This one is probably my favorite because it features the trophy, the logo, and my tag "The Road to Destiny."  We're a long way from the NBA Finals, but that IS our ultimate goal and I have faith in my team!

Very similar to a previous design of mine back when the team first launched the new brand.  Now, almost a year later, I've updated that for the Playoffs. "Hello Playoffs."

Reggie Evans and his beard have become quite popular since he was signed by the Nets.  This is obviously just a fun design to portray Reggie's ever-growing Beard.  #FearTheBeard

I really like this one a lot.  It doesn't need any words to describe it.  It's simply Brooklyn.

Why is this here?  Because my cousin challenged me to create an alternate Jersey for the Nets and this is what I came up with.  It features the modern black and white colors and the classic ABA style worn by Dr. J and Jason Kidd during our last NBA Finals Run.  It's a modern throwback and nod to our past while representing our present.  Notice, on my Jersey, it doesn't say "Brooklyn" but rather "Nets" across the chest.  I feel we should have one Jersey that supports the team rather than the borough.  That's what my custom Jersey stands for.  Of course, because I'm overly optimistic at times, I threw in the NBA Finals patch to boot.

Feel free to use these as you wish and spread them throughout the world.  Of course, Hashtagging them #CKCASH and tagging me @CKCASH30 would be appreciated :)

Road Dogg Jesse James Twitter Background

I first began designing when I was about 13.  I made WWE backgrounds using "cutouts" and magazine photos.  It was where my passion was born and, from there, it progressed to other loves of mine.  I've always been a big wrestling fan.  Since I was three-years-old, I've loved the entertainment and emotions it evokes.

Unfortunately, so many amateur and professional designers make various wrestling designs that it's difficult to find a niche.  But, recently, I noticed that an Attitude Era veteran, Road Dogg Jesse James, is in need of a new Twitter background.  So, this is what I created.  Will he use it?  Who knows?  But I thought it was a cool attempt to reach a childhood favorite and offer my thanks through one passion to another.

I used his classic logo as featured on his current background.  I wrote his name in a font similar to that on his old WWF t-shirt.  I included the classic DX logo and his Twitter handle.  In the middle, a DX barcode.  On the right side, a play on his legendary quote.  In another play, the iconic Twitter bird has been decked out to match his look and logo.

Nets vs Bulls

The Nets take on the Bulls tomorrow in a battle for Playoff Seeding Supremacy.  It's a big game for Brooklyn and, if you're there, here's one sign you'll want to hold up, Loud & Proud, to let Chicago know we don't take any Bull!
